Mr Mohammed Bagonza, Head of the State House Diaspora Unit, has held a meeting with Mr David Asiimwe, a regional business expansion specialist based in Tanzania and Chairperson of the NRM Diaspora Tanzania Chapter.
The discussion focused on strengthening collaboration to support Ugandan diaspora entrepreneurs and businesses interested in investing in Uganda.
Mr Asiimwe, who specialises in market entry strategies across Tanzania and the wider East African region, shared insights on bridging the gap between Ugandan enterprises and regional business opportunities.
The engagement also explored ways in which the Diaspora Unit can facilitate stronger links between diaspora investors and opportunities back home.
